Hello I’m Sam Manning. I practice acupuncture and Tui Na Chinese therapeutic massage and I’ve been helping people in Oxfordshire to improve their health for over ten years.

    "I would recommend
   Sam as a
   practitioner for
   her skill in
   getting to the
   root of a problem
   and elegantly
   dealing with it.
   She has a gift for
   listening and
   understanding and
   deciding on a
   course of action."

Alistair, London

A committed member of the Acupuncture for Pregnancy and Childbirth Team throughout that time, I have developed specialist skills and experience in treating fertility, during pregnancy and in the post-natal period.

I’m also a mum with a young family and my own experiences of this exciting, taxing time of life give me insight into the difficulties encountered and a passion for supporting others through them.

A few years into my acupuncture career, I became interested in how to help when needles are not available – or may not be acceptable.

This led me to study Tui Na acupressure massage, which used my existing understanding of Chinese Medicine in a very hands-on way. Tui Na has an particularly important role to play in the treatment of babies and children, especially as the techniques are simple and can be continued by a parent between sessions. Of course, there are still times when only a needle will do!

In my general practice I have treated many people presenting with a wide range of conditions; muscular-skeletal, mental-emotional, auto-immune, digestive, menstrual, fertility and more.

I’ve worked with the Acupuncture Fertility Network, and for several years I ran a drop-in centre for the homeless and recently housed, where the core of my practice was working with people with mental health issues, and those moving on from addictions. I bring all this experience to play when treating families – where anything can happen.

I’m fully trained in traditional acupuncture to degree level and I practice a combination of TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) and Five Element Acupuncture. I am committed to furthering my knowledge in the fields of acupuncture and Tui Na massage, and I undertake extensive post-graduate training every year.

I believe in treating everyone individually and doing all in my power to give them some level of control over their own health. I want to help you and your family to feel better and stay well.
